Vandalism and Attacks on Pagan temples

May those who perpetrated these assaults be damned. May they be cut off from their ancestors and from all good things until they make amends. Attacks like this...THIS is the fruit of monotheism.

Disgusting indeed, but I rather think this is the fault of insane nationalism rather than monotheism itself. As Kenaz <a href="http://kenazfilan.blogspot.com/2011/10/gods-defiled-in-ukraine.html">mentions</a>, similar atrocities have been committed by Ukranian Pagans. Religion in general really needs to stop being used as a thin legitimization for these horrible actions.

It is very sad that so many burial mounds, standing stones, and other monuments from ancient times have been destroyed when nobody was looking by "Christians". In most cases, they had a profit motive, and wanted the stones to construct buildings. This seems to be a more organized event, one of social intimidation. If anything, the world needs a view to the naturalistic origins of religion. Without reverence for the living world, religion has no soul.

Wow. Unreal. And that God Post to Perun is AWESOME. You can see the people shouting PerUUUUUUUUUN. What a shame that they were treated like this.
