My adopted mom was a devout Heathen, but she had deep compassion for the Hellenic God Charon. His work and plight moved her immensely and it was through her contemplation of Him that I first got a sense of this God. When she died, I made a decision to in some way honor, at least once, every Deity that had touched her life and helped her endure and thrive. Charon was one of them. With the anniversary of her death fast approaching, I offer this for both her and Him.

I've enjoyed reading the adorations on the pagan blogs and appreciated this tribute. Charon plays an important role.

I enjoyed these. I like reading things like this for little known and forgotten deities. It helps paint a picture of them and sheds light on things. :-)
